I'M NEW
Hello and welcome to Open Door!
We hope the information on the website will help you in whatever questions you may have about this growing church in Bolckow, Missouri.

The church began over 20 years ago with a group of people who loved God and wanted to reach the world for Him.

We are an inter-denominational church that believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that today we can experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to transform and heal lives.

We are a church of imperfect people, with a heart after the Lord Jesus Christ, who are working out their walk with God every day.

Our main service time is on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.

We have a growing children’s ministry that is available during the main service, and those that are teenagers join the adults in the main sanctuary or serve in other areas of the church during the service.  We also have other ministries and events that take place throughout the year.

Come early on Sundays for coffee or tea and get to know some of the wonderful people the Lord has placed in our midst.  If you have any questions or special needs, please feel free to ask one of our ushers.  They are here to serve you.

Again, welcome!

We are excited about what the Lord is doing here in northwest Missouri.

What to Expect!

Sunday Morning Service

The atmosphere at Open Door has a balance of both freedom and reverence for the presence of God.  Most people at Open Door dress casually. We want people to come in the manner they feel most comfortable, to be themselves before God. We believe it’s more important that we be clothed in a heart that loves Him and other people!

Our praise and worship time is blended with both contemporary and traditional songs.  Some people may lift their hands in adoration and submission to God as the words that are sung touch their hearts.  Our worship time allows people to express their love for God, with all of their hearts.

We believe in a balanced, biblical approach to the presence of God in our services. It is not unusual for the Holy Spirit to move in our services and for people to say they experienced His presence. The Bible also tells us that the gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes.  We have also been privileged to see God heal many people of various sicknesses and diseases, of which some have had for many years.

Children's Church

Children and youth are the leaders of tomorrow!

We take seriously the responsibility to help parents prepare their children for the great tasks ahead.  We do not view children's church as a means to "babysit" the children while the parents attend services, but our heart is to provide a safe and exciting environment for your children as they are taught to address life issues from a biblical perspective.

Each class has creative and caring leaders with Bible-based curriculum to help your child grow in the Bible basics and to help them know Jesus.
